Family Reunion
The party-filled July continued on Saturday with our annual family reunion (my father's side of the family). It was fun but very hot! I think we had about 60 people there this year. Everybody couldn't stop telling me how cute and happy Max is. They say, "he is ALWAYS smiling!"
We have had a few rough nights as Max is getting his top, front teeth. They have finally poked through a little bit and I think that they've been bothering him a lot. He is just falling asleep on his little Mickey couch right now...I hope that he sleeps better tonight!

The boys played in the sandbox when we got back to Aunt Becky's house.
Here is Max swimming with my cousin's daughter, Amy. She is 6 years old. Amy and her older sister, Anna, thought that Max was just too cute.
Lila and her parents couldn't make it to the actual reunion but visited at Becky's house later in the evening. Lila is 6 months old now!
Max actually likes to wear these Mickey ears. He also likes to put them on me and laugh.

Everybody had a great time at Jake's birthday party on Saturday. There was playing, swimming, eating and of course presents for the birthday boy. Max enjoyed the Mickey Mouse theme a lot...especially the balloons. That boy is fascinated by helium balloons!
The month of birthdays continues next weekend...last weekend was Eric Jr's party, this past weekend was Jake's, and next weekend is both Mary and Max's! I think my cousin Lloyd's party is the first weekend in August! Also, today is my parents' 40th anniversary! It's a busy month for us!
