Everybody had a great time at Jake's birthday party on Saturday. There was playing, swimming, eating and of course presents for the birthday boy. Max enjoyed the Mickey Mouse theme a lot...especially the balloons. That boy is fascinated by helium balloons!
The month of birthdays continues next weekend...last weekend was Eric Jr's party, this past weekend was Jake's, and next weekend is both Mary and Max's! I think my cousin Lloyd's party is the first weekend in August! Also, today is my parents' 40th anniversary! It's a busy month for us!

We can tell Jake's party was a big success from the photo of him with Becky as everyone sang "Happy Birthday"!! He's such a beaming, handsome boy!! What's in the water in Ohio-all three of the cousins are so very adorable?!!! Liz,congrats to your great parents, 40 years, it's just an incredible number!!
Most importantly, next stop the big (1). Max is hitting the big time now. We will be calling to give you guys the tracking number for a package we are sending to the birthday boy.
